The Charlotte UDO Maintenance Text Amendment Request Form Portal is now open!

Charlotte Planning shares their recommendation to us this portal to DIRECTLY submit comments or suggestions for potential text amendments to the standards in the Charlotte UDO.

Comments submitted through this portal may recommend anything from greater usability, clarity, function, or identification of other issues with the standards. Comments will be accepted over the next month, through August 31st, 2026.

Rob’s Take: REBIC was the first to establish a comment protocol several years ago with a link on our website. Dozens of forms were completed and submitted and I want to thank all those who engaged in working with us. Those forms and feedback offered a tremendous amount of positive and logical feedback that our Charlotte planners have used to hone, adjust, and correct the UDO. Yes, it’s a work in progress. But it’s up to us to make that progress real. — Please, click into the portal and share your knowledge and ideas.
